DBG Fire Marshall Training

Fire Marshals are designated members of staff who take responsibility in the event of a fire.
The DBG provide training for Fire Marshals and the training includes:

  • The role and duties of a Fire Marshal.
  • Actions on discovering a fire.
  • Emergency Evacuation Procedures.
  • Procedures having left the building.
  • Actions of discovering persons still in the fire area.
  • Spotting fire hazards.
  • Feedback to the employer.
  • Understanding fire extinguishers and signage.
  • Review of Fire Marshal's equipment.

Fire Marshal training takes an hour and follows
on and can only be provided in conjunction with
the Basic Fire Safety Awareness Training.



The training costs £100 plus VAT for DBG members (£150 plus VAT for non-members).
