DBG 2010 Golf Break

The 2010 event took place at the De Vere Belton Woods
near Grantham in Lincolnshire. Again the event ran over
two days playing the competition on the Sunday on the
"tricky" Championship Lakes course and many of those
who went to bed early enough played the Woodside course
on the Monday.

Those who didn’t partake in the game took advantage
of the spa facilities or relaxed in the bar

This year it was great to see some new faces at the
event and many of the new faces took away many of
the top prizes. Unfortunately the Jaguar prize has been
parked back in the garage for another year as the
hole-in-one was missed yet again.

During the Sunday evening dinner and presentations
a raffle was held with the main prize being an Apple
iPad kindly donated by Schulke & Mayr with all raffle
proceeds donated to Cancer Relief.

It was very pleasing to see that in these difficult financial
times that the sponsorship support from our suppliers
exceeded our expectations, thank you for all your support.
The sponsors included Barclaycard, Coltene Whaledent, 
Dentsply, GC, Heraeus Kulzer, Lloyd & Whyte,
Medivance, Premlease, Schulke & Mayr, Septodont,
Sybron Endo and Ultimate Communications.

We recommend that as we had so many new faces
attending this year, to guarantee your place for next
year’s event, please book early to avoid disappointment.
